My Favorite Fruit | Lesson 20

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:4

Fruit: [noun] Production; that which is produced; Effect or consequence; anything produced or accruing; product, result, or effect; return or profit:

I really like fruit, my grandmother really really likes fruit.  It's way better than veggies. There are quite a lot of folks who won't even touch vegetables but will buy out the fruit stands.  And there are those who raise their nose to fruit eaters and proudly proclaim that they eat all vegetables! They will even make smoothies with veggies!  (now I just can't do that, but that's just me)

It is very interesting that the definition of fruit doesn't include 'sweet to the taste', 'pleasant to the eyes', or 'makes one happy'.

How does fruit grow? It is the effect of a plant that has been planted in soil, provided with the sun and shade, and watered.  Yet there is a vast difference in a plant that has just been 'planted' and a plant that has been nourished, tended, and cared for.  Both types of plants will produce something.

Gardners really understand how sowing and reaping works. But is that all there is to harvesting the desired outcome?  Those who have a 'green thumb' understand this.  If you were teaching someone who always lived in a big city high rise how to grow a little garden, what would you say? If you didn't know, how would you get the answer?

Could your write out a few basic steps? What would your key points be?
